Dunes Cottage is situated on the edge of sand dunes which form part of the Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe National Nature Reserve and a vast, sandy beach is just a two minute walk from the garden
A National Nature Reserve and a vast, sandy beach is just a two minute walk from the garden. The Nature Reserves of Donna Nook and Gibraltar Point ( where seals gather in the winter to rear their young) are just a short drive away.

Dunes Cottage was once the stable which belonged to the brick-maker during the 19th Century when the site was an active brick-pit. It was from this pit from that clay was dug to form bricks with which many of the older houses in the village are constructed. .
Now converted to a charming cottage, with all modern facilities, this is the perfect holiday cottage hideaway.
ACCOMMODATION:
The cottage sleeps up to six people in double bedroom room, twin bedded room and a sofa bed in the living room. There is a bright dining room with table and seating for 6 people.

This area makes the ideal holiday location for bird-watchers and lovers of flora and fauna. The many footpaths and open expanse of sandy beach are perfect for walkers.
The Reserve at Donna Nook, where seals gather in the winter to rear their young, has one of the largest and most accessible breeding colonies of grey seals in the UK. It is a truly amazing spectacle. During November and December there are wardens at the site to protect to the seals and to organise viewing facilities for visitors.
